At a glance

Killion is planning and simulation software with read-only account linking. Pralana is described below in its own terms. Where a figure is quoted it comes from the vendor's published pricing and was checked on the date shown.
| Killion | Pralana | |
|---|---|---|
| Individual price | $14/mo, or $11/mo billed annually ($132/yr). Max tier $24/mo or $19/mo annually. | Pralana Online $119 first year, $89 renewals (three scenarios). Family plan $199 then $159. Gold Excel is a separate one-time version fee. |
| Monte Carlo | 1,000-path regime-switching Monte Carlo with fixed seeds, so a run reproduces. | 1,000 traditional or bootstrap simulations, plus historical analysis, on Gold/Online copy. |

| Form factor | Web app, demo in the browser, no spreadsheet. | Excel Gold and a web Online product. |
Pralana details checked on against the Pralana purchase page. Vendors change prices; verify before deciding.
Two SKUs
The purchase page distinguishes Excel Gold (indefinite use of a version, paid again for a new version) from Pralana Online (annual subscription, three scenarios on the individual plan). This comparison uses those published figures. It does not score the Excel model’s accuracy.
