Net worth tracking across brokerages, crypto and cash

A net worth number is only useful if it is the same number your projection runs on. Killion keeps one balance sheet and feeds it directly into the simulation.

One number, and the history behind it

Dashboards commonly show a net worth figure that disagrees with the chart underneath it, because the live figure and the stored history are computed by different paths. Killion reconciles the two: the number on the dashboard and the last point of the history are the same value.

History also fills forward. If you do not open the app for a week, the chart does not develop a gap: the series continues, so month-over-month and year-over-year comparisons stay meaningful.

What it covers

Brokerage and crypto accounts link read-only: Killion can read positions and transactions and cannot trade, transfer or withdraw. Cash and bank balances are entered manually at present while automatic bank linking moves to a new provider. Property, vehicles, precious metals and liabilities are added by hand and priced at market where a market price exists.

  • Read-only by design. The connection cannot move money. There is no permission to revoke because it was never granted.
  • Market pricing. Metals and securities are valued at current market prices rather than purchase price.
  • Liabilities included. Mortgages and loans sit on the same balance sheet and flow into fixed expenses.
  • Feeds the projection. The same holdings drive the Monte Carlo run: there is no second set of numbers.

The research behind it

  • Budgeting: Income, fixed and flexible spending, feeding your projection instead of a guessed savings rate.
  • Killion AI: Ask about your own numbers. Answers come back with charts, and changes arrive as cards you approve.
