Different jobs
Portfolio Visualizer’s pricing page lists backtesting, Monte Carlo, portfolio optimization, factor regression, asset analytics and tactical allocation models. That is a research lab for mixes. Killion’s public pages list named withdrawal rules, a household Monte Carlo and read-only brokerage linking. Calling both “Monte Carlo tools” is true and unhelpful.
Which one to choose
Choose Killion if
- You want a retirement paycheck, a withdrawal rule, and a linked household — not 150 tickers.
- You want a no-signup demo of a full plan rather than an analytics workbook.
Choose Portfolio Visualizer if
- You are comparing factor exposures, efficient frontiers or tactical models.
- You want a free lab with no account and you accept the 15-asset cap.
